Is this Batman's new ride in the upcoming Dark Knight? It looks pretty bad-ass, but I'm surprised by the Bat logo on the side.

Lt. James Gordon of the GCPD has issued an APB and FBI advisory in response to the armed robbery and double homicide that happened last evening. District Attorney candidate Harvey Dent commented that, "The people of Gotham City need to feel safe, and the sooner that we clean up the Narrows, we'll have taken the first step toward a brighter future."

There is no known identity for the suspect at this time, but forcesofgood has acquired a photo of the suspect. He is considered armed and extremely dangerous.

HE'S A COOL EXEC, WITH A HEART OF STEEL

USA Today has published another sneak of the upcoming Iron Man film with Robert Downey, Jr.

Nostradamus couldn't have cast this role better. "He struggles with his lifestyle, he struggles with the drinking," Downey says of Tony (Iron Man) Stark. "He faces the same issues a lot of people do."

THE NUMBER ONE NAME IN COMEDY

Judd Apatow.

He looks like a cross between of half of my cousins and most of the counsellors I had at Jewish Sleep-a-Way camp.

Nevertheless, this genius has made me laugh more times than I have deserved to.

He has created an ensemble group of players who frequently appear and reappear in project after project. He is a writer, a director and a producer.

He has been involved in some of the finest comedy in the last decade including The Larry Sanders Show, The Ben Stiller Show, Freaks and Geeks, Undeclared, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, The 40 Year Old Virgin, The Cable Guy, and two upcoming summer films, Knocked Up and Superbad.

His ensemble includes many regulars both in front of and behind the camera including Paul Feig, Jay Baruchel, David "Gruber" Allen, Paul Rudd, Samm Levine, Leslie Mann, David Kochner, Jason Segal, Martin Starr, Carla Gallo, Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell, Steve Carell and the legendary Seth Rogen.

This summer, Apatow and Rogen team up for two movies.

The first, Knocked Up is written and directed by Apatow and stars Rogen as a leading man for the first time, opposite Katherine Heigl. Alum in the picture include: Mann, Rudd, Segal, Starr, Baruchel with a cameo by Carell.

The second, Superbad, is co-written by Rogen, directed by Greg Mottola (who directed six episodes of Undeclared) and is produced by Apatow. Small parts are played by Starr, Rogen, and Gallo.

Currently, Apatow is involved with the upcoming Walk Hard, a homage of music bio pics starring John C. Reilly (Talladega Nights); You Don't Mess with the Zohan, co-written and starring Adam Sandler (Undeclared) and co-starring Rob Schneider; Step Brothers with Ferrell and Reilly: Forgetting Sarah Marshall written by and starring Segal and The Pineapple Express, co-written and co-starring Rogen opposite James Franco (Freaks and Geeks).

I can't help but enthusiastically respect Apatow for his talent and his loyalty.

Plus, he makes me laugh.

"SORRY ABOUT THAT CHIEF" REDUX

USA Today has published the first photo of Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway as Agents Maxwell Smart and 99, respectfully, in the upcoming remake of the hit television series, Get Smart. The parts were originally portrayed on television by Don Adams and Barbara Feldon.

The film is being directed by Peter Segal (50 First Dates, Tommy Boy) and will focus on the anarchy group KAOS attempting to blackmail the United States by threatening to give away nuclear launch codes to our enemies. It's up to Smart and 99 and the rest of their agency, CONTROL, to stop them.

Also starring in the film are Alan Arkin as the Chief, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Ken Davitian and Terence Stamp.

Get Smart arrives in theaters June 2008.

I'M HENRY THE EIGHTH I AM...

Ah, television.

For far too many years, the bastard red-headed step-sibling of motion pictures, television, in my humble opinion, currently has the edge for satisfying entertainment. With current shows like Heroes, Battlestar Galactica, 24, Lost, the Office and Entourage as my current "must-sees", I'm actually pretty interested in the new Showtime Original Series, The Tudors, which is focusing on the early years of King Henry VIII. Despite it having a foothold in historical context, it comes across as a "reinvention", much like Batman Begins and Casino Royale. The untold life of Henry VIII is a story definitely worth telling and features among it's talented cast Jonathan Rhys Meyers (MI:3, Elvis), Sam Neill (Jurassic Park), Gabrielle Anwar (Body Snatchers) , Jeremy Northam (Gosford Park), Henry Cavill (upcoming Neil Gaiman's Stardust), Callum Blue (Showtime's Dead Like Me).

The show premieres on Sunday, April 1st with plenty of sex, scandal and intrigue, and Showtime has generously given the FOG! readers an opportunity to preview the first two episodes here
