THEY'RE NOT DOLLS!!! THEY'RE ACTION FIGURES!

In my opinion, the best super-hero comic in the past decade was Darwyn Cooke's superb DC: The New Frontier. Cooke, a former magazine graphic designer-turned animator-turned cartoonist wrote and drew the opus, chronicling the older generation of heroes (Superman, Batman, Blackhawk, etc.) encountering the "new characters" of the late 1950's (Green Lantern, Flash, Challengers of the Unknown, etc.) and an alien threat to Earth itself.

In July of 2006 the first wave of toys were released.
