GETTING PRETTY EXCITED

I know it's a week off, but I'm actually getting psyched to see "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow". Despite not being crazy about CGI in general and certainly never expecting to be excited to see an entire film shot against a blue screen, "Sky Captain" seems to capture everything that I love.

I read an interview that writer-director Kerry Conran wanted to shoot the film with unknowns and treat it as a lost film directed by a Capra protege that was recently discovered. Pure geek genius! Those of you readers who know me well enough are aware that I had a similar plan for the Jack Nitro movie.
