THOSE KIDS PLAYING THAT AWFUL RACKET

Happy Anniversary to one of rock 'n' roll's defining moments: Elvis Presley's first professional recording engineered at the legendary Sun Studio in Memphis. Presley, then a truck driver, recorded "That's All Right Mama" as a gift for his mother's birthday.

Presley, who passed away at age 42 in 1977 is survived today by one daughter, Lisa Marie Presley and approximately thirty seven thousand really, really bad imitators.
